favorite times of the day?

bedtime + waking up. 

these are the times in my day when i am really “with” mike.  its during these special times where nothing else is going on…its just us. i absolutely love when 5:30am rolls around and mike gets out of bed and heads to the kitchen. i already know his “special” routine. he looks for a box of cereal, makes his coffee, and then does his devotions for the day. he then comes into our room and lays down with me for about 10 minutes and tries to converse with me; however, i’m not that alive around 6:15am.

but the way that he just lays with me and tells me how blessed he is to have me and how much more he loves me today than he did before. its magical. its such a dear moment in my day that i pray never goes away.  before he leaves for work, he gently kisses me and tells me how beautiful i am… mmmm, thank you Lord for all the pain and waiting i went through—never did i think i would live a life this good.
